Each year, building service contractors (BSCs), distributors, manufacturers and end users come together at the annual ISSA Show North America. They learn the latest best practices and strategies for their businesses through ISSA’s informative educational sessions. They showcase new innovations that help organizations achieve cost, sustainability and productivity savings. They network to forge new connections and partnerships that will benefit the cleaning industry as a whole.
While this year’s show, taking place Nov. 16-19, has pivoted to a virtual format due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are excited to connect with industry professionals who are more eager than ever to learn how they can contribute to cleaner and safer facilities.
Cleanliness Concerns
The pandemic has forever changed the way that the world approaches cleaning. While cleaning and disinfecting was certainly an important focus for facility maintenance professionals before the pandemic, it is now instrumental for reducing the spread of COVID-19. Custodians and facility managers have stepped up to perform more frequent and thorough cleaning, and even employees who aren’t typically responsible for cleaning have been entrusted to use products and tools to uphold cleanliness in places like retail stores, restaurants and schools.
The demand for supplies like disinfectants and hand sanitizer continues to soar. Meanwhile, consumers are increasingly sensitive to the types of products that facilities are using to clean. They want to know that the chemicals applied to surfaces are effective against pathogens of concern. Products that provide protection from the SARS-CoV-2 virus are a must, but so is safe and responsible cleaning. Too often, the introduction of new and powerful chemicals or requirements to clean more frequently can lead to injuries or aggravate sensitivities and allergies. We cannot sacrifice safety in our quest to eliminate germs.
While the focus on cleaning and sanitizing is higher than ever, we cannot forget that many of the end use sites are operating at lower capacity or have been closed altogether as second waves of the virus emerge globally. This means that chemical dispensers must increasingly be cost-effective, easier to use and have fewer maintenance requirements.
New Innovations, Exceptional Benefits
At the upcoming ISSA Show, Hydro Systems will showcase several products and solutions that support cleanliness year-round and meet the challenges the pandemic has presented. These include:
In addition to showcasing our latest dispensing solutions, Hydro Systems will host a live session and Q&A, “A New Decade of Clean” on November 17 at 2:00 p.m. CST, and again on November 18 at 9:00 a.m. CST during the ISSA Show. The session will highlight how 2020 isn’t just the beginning of a new decade, but has forever changed the way we clean. We’ll discuss new, innovative and low-cost dispensing options and help users clean with confidence. To add the session to your Virtual Planner, click here.
