Hydro Systems Opens Search for Inspiring Stories with Hydro Frontline Heroes Campaign

CINCINNATI – July 23, 2020 – Hydro Systems, a world leader in chemical dispensing equipment, software and services, announced Dan Lopez, Lead Supervisor for Superior Building Maintenance located in Fishkill, New York, as the Hydro Frontline Heroes contest winner. Hydro Systems has donated $2,500 to the John Flowers Foundation, which offers food aid to those in need in Poughkeepsie, New York.

“Over the last several weeks, we’ve highlighted cleaning professionals who are on the front lines of the fight against coronavirus and make personal sacrifices to protect others,” said Cheri Maat, Vice President Global Marketing, Hydro Systems. “We’re so inspired by Dan’s dedication, along with all of the other Hydro Heroes who have helped make the world a cleaner, healthier place. We’re proud to support a local organization that is helping to feed families and individuals during this crucial time.”

Dan Lopez and his crew at Superior Building Maintenance were called into action to clean and disinfect a group residential home for the developmentally disabled where several residents and staff had contracted COVID-19. Dan spent multiple days properly disinfecting the space, providing everyone with a clean, safe environment and peace of mind. Once the job was complete, Dan continued to lift spirits by donating some of his own money to the group home so residents and staff could have a pizza party.

The Hydro Frontline Heroes campaign celebrated cleaning professionals going above and beyond expectations during the global pandemic. In addition to the overall winner, the campaign recognized 10 weekly winners who helped limit the spread of coronavirus, each receiving a JBL® Wireless Bluetooth Speaker.
