I recently had the pleasure of attending ISSA Show North America 2019 in Las Vegas with other members of the Hydro Systems team. The cleaning industry’s annual show offers opportunities for networking and learning, as well as showcasing the impact that dosing and dispensing solutions have on businesses. From hosting seminars to displaying our latest products, the week was a whirlwind of activities and valuable insights for Hydro Systems.
The Future of Cleaning
On Monday, Hydro’s Serge Joris and a panel of cleaning and technology industry influencers hosted the seminar, “Innovation and Insights: How to Take Your Internet of Things (IoT) Initiative to the Next Level.” The seminar focused on how the IoT offers innovative solutions to common challenges that organizations in the facility cleaning industry face. The speakers also tackled topics like real results of IoT pilots and launched solutions, IoT misconceptions, best practices for companies considering implementing an IoT system and the future of the Hydro Connect platform.
With the IoT becoming more and more prevalent within the cleaning industry and its related sectors, it’s important for business leaders and facility managers to understand the positive impact that IoT solutions can have on their bottom line. From improved productivity to reduced waste to better cleaning results, the IoT is delivering real results that lead to cost savings and greater occupant and visitor satisfaction.
The Many Benefits of Dispensers
During exhibition hours, booth #2727 featured a variety of solutions, including EvoWash, a powder/solid detergent dissolver with an optional, integrated rinse pump, and EvoRinse, a solid rinse dissolver to be used in conjunction with EvoWash. These latest innovations in warewashing make the benefits of solid warewash chemistry more widely available in a sleek package that takes less time to install and occupies 50% less space in the kitchen. EvoWash and EvoRinse are ideal for use in commercial kitchens as well as non-commercial foodservice operations in schools, office buildings or healthcare settings. By reliably dosing chemicals, our solutions reduce rewash rates to help operations run smoothly and save chemicals, energy, water and time.
We also showcased our Hydro Connect IoT platform, which was nominated for this year’s Innovation Award. The platform transmits data to the cloud to give laundry operators increased visibility into their operations. It optimizes production, leads to cost savings and increases customer satisfaction in facilities where linen is used. Our Dositec Multi-Washer System, which is used in conjunction with Hydro Connect, was also on display. Designed for both on-premise and industrial facilities, Dositec features a consolidated footprint, professional reports and simplified maintenance through the elimination of squeeze tubes.
Finally, in our booth, we were able to showcase many of our exciting new technologies with top clients. These projects are currently in development and with partner feedback, will push the boundaries of what is possible while adding tons of value for our customers.
A Valuable Visit
After each visit to an ISSA Show, I always feel accomplished about the discussions we have with customers and prospects. These conversations reaffirm that we deliver dosing and dispensing innovations that push boundaries and improve everyday processes. Our team truly believes in a “first time right” approach; by using Hydro’s reliable and accurate solutions, businesses get their cleaning done right on the first attempt. In turn, they realize labor, sustainability and cost savings.
Thank you to everyone who visited the Hydro Systems booth. With this year’s exhibition complete and a new year on the horizon, I encourage you all to continue innovating, creating and exploring new ideas. Did you attend this year’s show?
